Principle Dermatologist
Dr. Heba Jibreal is a Consultant Dermatologist with extensive experience in both private practice and public health sectors. She currently serves as a Visiting Medical Officer at Queensland Children’s Hospital and is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Queensland.
Dr. Jibreal obtained her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery in 2008. She completed her dermatology specialist training overseas and in Australia at several major hospitals, including Princess Alexandra Hospital and Queensland Children’s Hospital. She holds dual fellowships from the Australian College of Dermatologists and the Jordanian Board of Dermatology & Venereology.
Dr. Jibreal brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her practice, with a particular interest in medical, paediatric, and laser dermatology, as well as skin cancer management. In addition to her clinical roles, she passionately mentors dermatology registrars, GPs, nursing staff, and medical students, ensuring the next generation of medical professionals is well-prepared.
Outside of work, Dr. Jibreal enjoys early morning walks, reading, and spending time with her husband and their two boys. She is dedicated to her family and values the balance between her professional and personal life.
